Character: Fuji Syuusuke

Biography/Personality:

When Fuji Syuusuke grew up, he was his parents’ ‘golden boy’. There wasn’t anything he wasn’t good at, he was a beautiful child and never caused any trouble. This caused his parents to spend more time with him and this gave his one year younger brother Yuuta little or no time with their parents. As they entered school, and Syuusuke was popular almost immediately, he didn’t think too much of it. But, as Yuuta started school and it soon became quite obvious he wasn’t as popular as his brother, Syuusuke started to resent himself. He developed a couple of quirks, as collecting cacti, eating strange things, saying the wrong things at the wrong time, and became generally weird at times. His hope was that people would notice that Yuuta actually was the sane one of the two. Whether he succeeded or not, he doesn’t quite know, as he hasn’t really talked with Yuuta about it.

Syuusuke’s life does have its downsides, and being too pretty can be a dangerous thing some times. The fact of the matter is that Syuusuke’s father has been abusing him sexually over the years, ever since he was a child, something that obviously has left considerable scars in him. He accepted the invitation to Evergreen so that he could get some distance between himself and his father, and so that he could put some space between himself and Yuuta as well, hoping that this would be for the better where his younger brother was concerned. What he didn’t realize was that Yuuta too had been given an invitation…

Fuji is almost what you would call a schizophrenic. He's pretty laid back as general interests go, mostly because he knows he can top almost anyone in whatever he sets his mind to. Should anyone ever meet up with Fuji's expectations on what a worthy opponent should be, or should someone make him angry, there is hell to pay. Fuji has a sadistic side to him that mostly goes into breaking your opponent down psychologically. Fuji can be quite arrogant, as he lives by the thought that people has to show themselves worthy in his eyes before he can be bothered with them on a deeper level.

The other side to Fuji is the kind adviser who stands in the background, occasionally pulling a small prank or two to liven people up. He can be very thoughtful and has a strong sense of ethics. Fuji is a polarizing in that he loves who he loves and he hates who he hates. He is, if provoked to it, capable of jealousy and the occasional petty slight, but overall he's a caring person even if he'd rather not show his inner feelings to each and everyone. He likes to joke around with people dear to him, sometimes taking the joke a little bit too far, but he can also be very warm hearted, as seen as he once helped a little girl who had a crush on him to overcome her issues with her twin sister.
